Heather Brito is the founder of HSW Counseling. LLC and has extensive training in relational and multi-contextual trauma as well as special modalities that help people heal and reach their goals. She has worked in the field for ten years and has mentored, supervised, and taught mental health practitioners. She is the only therapist in Massachusetts that is recognized by the Sandplay therapists of America as a Sandplay Practitioner. Heather also offers EMDR therapy
which is only one of two modalities that is accepted for the treatment of Trauma.

Heather, in addition to individual therapy, offers consultation to other EMDR therapists who are getting trained as well as supervision for all therapists as well as trainings to institutions on Healing Trauma with Sandplay Therapy, Healing Trauma with EMDR. and Intro to Trauma for schools and other mental health institutions. Heather also offers trainings, to first responders on PTSD secondary trauma and vicarious trauma.

Heather has an excellent understanding of different pathologies from a variety of theoretical backgrounds. She is able to address each individual’s need with a model and plan that is evidence based and will help each person achieve their goals.
